Looking for a special stay in Amsterdam? Then you might be like me and you will find yourself in a hostel in Amsterdam. Filled with travelers from all over the world, a cozy kitchen with Smeg fridges, sofas, a calendar with a new theme drawn in the style of the fifties every day, a home cat and a short walk from Leidseplein. A warm welcome with Prosecco, a personal tour through the hostel (which used to be a brothel, they still retained a pole) and an explanation of Amsterdam with two travelers from Ireland and Australia gave me the same feeling when I was traveling. “Where are you from?” a smile appeared on my face until I told them I’m actually from the Netherlands and was only here for a party.
I spent the night in the Delft Blue Room (typical Dutch!) and shared my room with a (presumably) German boy. We had our own bathroom and toilet and view over the Westeinde street.
